Galveston Island Outdoor Musicals staged "Hello, Dolly!" directed by James Stoker and starring cabaret singer Marilyn Maye. The entire score was jazzed up for Marilyn by musical director Mark Janas. One of the ideas was that Dolly would sing with a "doo-wop" chef quartet in the middle of the title number.
